It's That Time of the Year....Christmas Cards

It's that time of year again. Ho Ho Ho! I have been working on my Christmas cards. I normally send approximately 50 cards every year. Once upon a time aka before kids, I would make 50 different designs and each card would be a work of art. Nowadays, I come up with 4 to 5 designs and make 10 of each. This year, I submitted some projects to Doodlebug  for their design team call and came up with two cards using their fabulous Christmas collections. These I didn't mass produce and it was a bit out of the box for me but I just love them. They are bright and fun. What do you think?

Let The New Adventure Begin

Well, it's finally happened. I have my blog up and running. Now, things will probably change in the next couple of weeks as I figure things out but this is a great start.

Thank you for looking in on me. This little corner of the blogging world will be where I share my newest creation.

I'm from Ottawa, Canada. I'm a married mom of two fantastic kids. They truly are the lights in my life and my main inspiration. Many of the things I come up with and create are for them or our home. Crafting has always been a huge part of my life. There's not much I haven't tried to do but I have managed to narrow it down and find a few niches. Scrapbooking, card making, paper crafting and sewing are my favorites and what I will be sharing with all of you.

My first project is a recent layout that I just love, love, love. I used Doodlebug's recent fan favorite collection, Flea Market. I also used one of their new Silhouette cut files. Another favorite! Hope you like this.
